Universities of New Zealand


New Zealand welcomes international students from all Universities of New Zealand. New Zealand's immigration laws prevent an international student from studying at a private provider that has not been registered or from taking a course that is not NZQA approved.

New Zealand welcomes students to stay back after completion of minimum one year program. Student can apply for graduate job search visa for a period of one year which would further lead to Permanent Residency. Some of the programs highly recognized for Permanent Residency are from Engineering in New Zealand  / Business / Computing / Health Science / Hospitality background.

There are 8 government funded Universities in New Zealand providing under graduate / post graduate programs. NZ also has popular option to study at any one of the 25 government funded poly techniques and institutes of technology. The programs are academically and vocationally focused.

newzealand University degrees are recognised internationally. New Zealand had a relatively low cost of living, in comparison to other countries around the world.The cost of education is relatively low compared to other countries. The diploma programs cost is approximately 4.5lacs to 5.5lacs per annum. The under graduate programs cost is approximately 5.0 lacs to 6lacs and the post graduate programs is 6.5 lacs to 7.5 lacs per annum.

Students can work up to 20 hours per week during program and 40 hours during Christmas and New Year vacation which is approx 6 weeks. The minimum wages paid per hour is $12.
